The Eastbourne site is now over 18 gb in size. In order to facilitate easier loading, all photographs taken before 2007 will be removed from the site this week. Many new photographs will be added including the recent Cambridge visit. The photo archives will be kept in storage but will not be available for viewing or downloading on the web.

Arundel Banquet 2008


Eastbourne Circle Brothers and wives lead by President Peter Oakshott turned out in force for the Province 18 organised Catenian Association Arundel Banquet was held in the historic and beautiful Barons Hall on Saturday 13th September, by kind permission of His Grace the Duke of Norfolk. The Rt Reverend Keiran Conry, Bishop of Arundel and Brighton, Rev Canon Tim Madeley, Madeley, Immediate past Grand President Philip Gidman and Mrs Gidman, Past Grand President John Clarke and Mrs Clarke, Director Martin Klust and Miss Zita Macauley joined our own Provincial President Jim Fitzpatrick and Mrs Fitzpatrick on the top table. In total 184 guests and brothers sat down for a very sumptuous meal.

The Eastbourne web site is back on line, being updated on a weekly basis. Conference Pictures, Sundial Lunch, the recent International Catenian centenary Croquet Tournament and the Lewes beer festival are all covered with pictures to download. Eastbourne enrolled on new brother this month

The major outage on our web sites have finally been resolved. The provincial web site can now be updated on a daily basis.
Last week Grand President David Taylor presented Patrick O Donovan of Seaford and Eastbourne Circles with a 50th anniversary scroll. Last month Chichester enrolled two new brothers and Eastbourne enrolled one last week, with another enrolment due at their September meeting.

Provincial Agm
Many Eastbourne Brothers lead by Brother President Peter Oakshott and provincial Councillor David Hiley, attended the Province 18 AGM and Dinner at the Singing Hills Golf Club. We were privileged to have Grand President Philip Gidman at the meeting and dinner.

Province 18 50th Anniversay Dinner
Over eighty Brothers and wives attended this event at the White Hart hotel in Lewes on Saturday 12th April. It was a great success and amongst those present were Grand President Philip Gidman, The Rt Rev Bishop Keiran , Director Martin Klust, Provincial President Paul Allen and many past Provincial Presidents. The Eastbourne party were led by the new President of the Circle Peter Oakshott Pictures will be added to both province 18 and Eastbourne Circles web sites later this week

Clergy Night 2008


Last night Grand President Philip Gidman and his wife Arleen were VIP guests along with the Mayor of Eastbourne Cllr Mary Pooley at the Eastbourne Circle Clergy Night. Many local clergy attended including the Dean of Eastbourne Father Barry Anderson and Canon Seamus Hester. A picture album of 40 photographs has been uploaded onto the Eastbourne Web Site .
